US robot troops to go into battle – World – www.smh.com.au

“The Pentagon is spending $161 billion on a program to build heavily-armed robots for the battlefield in the hope that future wars will be fought without the loss of its soldiers’ lives.”

That would be without the loss of American lives. Obviously enemy soldiers don’t count for anything.

So, I am wondering, do these count as Weapons of Mass Destructions and will UN Weapons Inspectors be despatched to assess the destruction potential?
